Hot surface fishing!

Today we took a group out on a one-day trip and landed 84 yellowfin tuna. With flat calm weather and 75° sea temperatures, the fish were up crashing around on the surface biting the fly line bait and the poppers. There were also some fish caught on surface irons. Catching tuna on the popper is not something we get to do every year, it is something that we get to do on these very special El Nino years. We have a couple trips next week with open spots if you'd like to get in on this action.
